Default GT28 Roller Bearing Turbo........

***JUST GAUGING INTEREST - Not actually for sale yet***

I am considering selling my turbo. I don't want to disclose detailed spec, but you all know what it can and has done.

It is essentially a GT28 Rolling Bearing turbo, but has actually had an awful lot of money spent on it. Firstly it was properly UK supplied, as the American's have an awful habit of mismatching turbo's and building turbo's that don't produce the goods.

It has an Inconel turbine wheel (which is lighter and stronger), 0.86 turbine housing and ported compressor shroud, which further aids spool-up (aswell as making amazing sounds!!!). It has an actuator fitted that will comfortably allow big boost figures, mine runs 30psi quite comfortably with the boost controller.

I have an adapted RS Turbo manifold, which I may sell with the turbo, but it will require a custom downpipe, I can advise on this if required. It may need a slightly fettled oil-drain too.

My car, as most of you know is still a 1600 and has recorded 327bhp on the rollers so far at just under 2-bar of boost and can easily handle 32psi. Knowing how responsive it is on mine, I can only imagine what it would be like on a ZVH/Zetec engine. Fantastic, I should think. Having driven other cars, I think it has around the same spool-up characteristics as a T34 with a 0.48 turbine housing, but with the ability to produce alot more power.

It has done around 5000 miles and has always had a Bailey turbo-filter fitted and the water supply connected (which is essential with a roller-bearing turbo). It is in excellent condition.

So, who would be interested and who wants to make me an offer?
