as far as induction kits go think K+N's do the best job of filtering etc but i love the sound of the others such as the pipercross ones

i think u'll find the temp of your air being sucked in will proportionally effect the temp of ur turbo itself therefore causing the air to be hotter once entering the intercooler and exiting the intercooler.
essentially the denser the air in the whole system the better otherwise you'll get accumulative temperature increase.
