A fuse gettin hot is on it's knees.

A 30a fuse has a blow rating of 60a and is rated at a continuos 30a. If you ask it to draw more than 30a it will start to get hot. Obviously the more current you draw through it, the hotter it will get and it will get hotter, faster.
