Yes you can but make sure it fits the board as space is limited.


ANOTHER OPTION

TO BE DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!


Remove the 3 pin regulator from the board.
Be carefull as pins on device will fracture if bent around too much.
If you break this device, they only cost £1 to replace.

Bolt regulator to a large area metal plate. At least 2 inches square !
Mount plate away from monitor display.
I.E. heat rises so dont place below monitor boards.

Extend 3 wires to circuit board from regulator device.

Ensure ALL connections are well insulated and in correct place !!

Wires must be NO LONGER than 30 cm.
