1. You wont need a cap in that mate.

A cap is like a mini battery and it stores power for when a big bass note drops in on multi amp/sub set-ups. So, with 1 10" sub, there's no need.

You need a cable with a thick enough gauge to run some heavly juice to the amp, otherwise it will just "clip out" all the time and blow fuses.

The sub is OK, personally, I wouldnt have bought it, but its OK. If you want a system to break windows, you need Rockford Fosgate
