I have 2wd Cossie rear calipers and AP 4 pot calipers on the front all being worked by a standard master cylinder and servo and the pedal is mint beyond mintyness.

Try bleeding the system again starting from furthest away from the master cylinder and work closer. Take the calipers off and hold them so that the bleed nipple is pointing upwards if neccessary.
