Hmm I laways thought like new or as new meant 'as new'
Most people I know who use the term mint too mean the car has not a mark on it , totally straight clean etc.
Perhaps you could be confused and not al the other people

And yes that looks pretty mint to me lovely example of a 4x4 getting very hard to find in this condition now.
