Its the form you fill out to complain to VOSA, every garage must have 2, and if you ask the guy for one he knows you are going to complain. He might then get very helpfull and you might get your car fixed FOC.

Don't sugest it, let him offer (if he does at all).

In my opinion (as a tester) its often cheaper to fix the car, then go for the VOSA apeal, earn nothing for the day, get fooked about only to get sent on a course for a day.

Even if you do appeal, you have no MOT and still have to pay to get it fixed.
