It is a simple conversion.
If you car is mk5/6 running the CVH engine all you have to do is take out the standard CVH and install the 1.6 turbo lump. If its zetec you need to change the left engine mount to a CVH one.
Management wise you can go for the normal Escort RS MFI using the metering unit. But I recommend making your car run the EFI management of a Fiesta RS turbo (OFAB or OFAC).
To run the EFI management you need the engine bay loom from a fiesta turbo or a Escort Mk5/6 with a EFI CVH engine. And you will need a engine with a CPS Hole in the block. You can get this from a late Escort turbo and Fiesta turbo.
Gearbox wise you can run ever the IB box from a S1 RS turbo that has a LSD. Or a MTX 75 box from a RS 2000 and 130 ps XR3i Mk5. If using the MTX75 box you will need to change your HUBs and drive shafts. The standard gearbox IB will cope but won’t take a lot of abuse.
