An update:

seeing as you can no longer get sills for these.... the rusted section you see with the hole on the inner sill is to be cut out and a new section welded in
The sill extension is also going to be cut out now the area to be cut away is marked in RED and will be cut down to the small flat that runs at the bottom as this is the strongest area of the sill. Before this is done there is a guy coming in to measure everything up and he is going to be making NEW sills then this will all be welded up and as new
No corners are being cut or shortcut/quick fixes on this as this is something that I do not want coming back to haunt me when this is all done it should be stronger and better than original :tup:
