Link your laptop to the tv its easy. I watched tokyo drift last night off my dell laptop on my telly.

Get an SVGA > RCA adaptor and a normal headphone jack to RCA cable. Then plug the svga end into your laptop and the headphone jack into the headphone out on your laptop. Then take your three RCA ends (video and sound right/left) plug them into a scart adaptor (i used the one that came with my ps2) and plug the scart into your tele.

If no picture comes up when you select the scart channel just right click on the desktop >goto properties then to the setting tab and tick the box which says "extend my desktop onto a second monitor". You should now see the tele come up with your desktop.
