Right, my 2.0L zetec will not start.

Prior to starting it, when i was connecting the battery I accidentally touched the live and the bonnet hinges together (The negative was attached) and it sparked big stylee and blew a fuse. I changed the fuse for a new one, went to start it and nothing. I then tried jump starting it, again nothing. I then tried to start it again just on it's own, it then cranked once, and then again nothing. I have lights on the dashboard, and the electric windows etc work.

I have checked all fuses and they are all fine.

It wont jump or bump start either.

Maybe a new battery/starter?

Any ideas?
