Depending on how bad it is, you can get products which 'feed' the leather. For example, AG do a leather cleaner, and a conditioner which feeds and restores the leather once it's clean. If they've really gone off, you can buy full restoration and dye kits from www.frost.co.uk, but that's about as extreme as you'll get...
