Default When building an engine up...

i have noticed that both my block and head have a slight burr on them, is it best to remove this before assembly as im guessing it will cause hot spots and potentially melt the fucker?

is ok to just run a bit of emery cloth around the bores and the edge of the combustion chamber on the head?

and lastly, as the engine will be all built up, it still wont be started for several months while the rest of the car is getting sorted out, am i best off using some of that engine builders grease and slap a load on instead of just using oil, as that will possibly drain away wheres the grease will stick to everything.

i think thats it for now lol

thankyou please
