M8 you need to change companys I love my job.
Nothing wrong with delivering chilled and frozen food its piss easy at least i dont have to sit around on a loading bay waiting for some twat to unload me.
Ok so the start time is a little early but then delivering into London is better done early hours besides i can;t remember the last time i worked a full shift supposed to do 10.15 hours a day inc lunch break so should work out to a 48 hour working week last count i was doing 36 a week lol so im quids in.
It all depends on how you feel about driving and what type of deliverys you wanna do i got a m8 who drives class1 for travis perkins earns 10p/h gets paid for an 8 hour day no matter what he does between 2 and 5 drops a day never works 8 hours lol
I get paid almost the same for driving a 7.5t lol and when my company pay for my class 2 ill be earning more so it really depends who you work for
I drive a 7.5t, have between 0 and 8 drops a day to the National Grid lads at the side of the road, most days in the summer (ie now) i do nothing all day, and get payed the same as the class 1 drivers.
Get along with all the gas lads and all the other drivers its just the other road users, traffic controller and the management that make a good job bad, but tbh i have found this everywhere i have driven, all the office staff try to get involved with shit they have no idea about......and this makes the job shite.....
Spending day apon day trunkin up and down the country for 15hours a day is mind fucking and then you have to deal with all the shite that goes with it....No thanks as soon as i can im getting out of it....
