i,m trying to set up the sensor but its not working out
the throttle body is off the car and so,s the head and all the rest,heres my problem
suposedly when you put an ohm meter between pins 30 and 17 on the sensor to measure the moving contact resistance i should get an infinite reading at idle and resistance should rise as i open the throtle to full, but i,m getting 480 ohms or there abouts at idle and resistance decreases as i open the throttle but it doesent quite reach zero ohms at full open ,now can i assume that if i set the sensor to zero ohms at full throttle it will be ok,i have heard somewhere that some sensors work the opposite way. i have tried this already and found that the sensor is at full adjust in the sliding slots at zero ohms,
the other resistance reading between pins 11 and 30 is ok at 540 ohms
the car is a 1992 sapg 4x4 and the sensor is red in colour and i would be greatful for and help as when its all in the the car its a bitch to get at
