Jim..i got one to one pixel mapping on my TV and thru DVI to HDMI running 1280 x 720 resolution looks spot on ...I beleive i can go higher resolution than that but as said looks as good as any moniter. Got a fairly high end graphics card though.

You really ought to look at the HD TV's Jim ones with VGA support aswell...you can see an ENORMOUS difference between using windows in VGA compared to DVI-HDMI.

But then i just a normal person so my eyes are obviously not as good as an IT persons eyes
