they had more complaints about vehicles that hads passed a test wrongly
I had someone complain once because I did not stamp thier service book

Another because the local quick fit had replaced the wrong bushes and someone else had passed it, even though the original bushes were hanging out.

The testers worst enimy has to be 'The Pub Expert'

I even failed a VOSA incogneto car once when it had passed 3 times the day before!!!

If your car has been failed, fix the faults and stop moaning, the car does not meet the 'minimum standard' to be on the road.

Ask the original tester for his views on the result of the retest, say you feel disappointed and is there anything they can do about it. If he's not too keen to help then you should ask for a VT17 (is that right Puddy?) and he might be a whole lot more helpfull then!
