Mine was missing when I got it, new cap and rotor arm and problem sorted. Same problem under 1 year later and it turned out it had eaten the cap and rotor again... looks like it will be something that needs replacing every service lol

Mine has got the grp a coil aswell, dont know if that has anything to do with it.

The rev counter went haywire a while back too but that seems to have sorted itself out?
