See, mine is about 3inchs+ and they didnt stitch or staple me!!! Surely that would of been best. I've been back twice to get the dressing changed due to it weaping and still no stitches! Another major issue is around 6 weeks ago i started with a new company and am on the normal 3 month trial period! I had one a few years back about the same size as yours.. maybe 5 inches though. Was not pleasent having to get dressings changed etc al the time.
Took 2 weeks they said but after 2 weeks walking wasn't great. I wouldn't want to go n holiday that soon after having it all sewn back together.
Took me a long time before I was back to normal
