After polishing, you should definately glaze the car. This will richen and deepen your shine.
This must be sealed in, and here you have a choice. You can use Poorboy's EX-P for a bright finish, and to emphasise what flake you have. However, like you have said, it doesn't look like you have a great deal of flake. Therefore you may be better to go for Poorboy's EX, which will mute what flake is present, and product a deep, glossy finish.
Top that with a finishing wax - Natty's Blue in your case - and you'll have an excellent looking purple escort with a deep wet shine
