are you sure your fuel pump is working ? I had a problem like this where the fuel pump would prime when I turned the ignition on but when you cranked the car it would stop working. Try putting a new pump relay in or crank the car and get someone to loosen one of the injector pipes on the metering head, you'll definately know if your getting fuel that way.
