got a 98 escort 1.8 zetec which died on me this morning, just stopped running as i was driving along. had recovery come out, said it was sparking but no fuel coming through. Had a quarter in the tank.
Checked fuses when i got home and one had blown. changed this one but still wouldnt start.
Would the fuse blowing cause the fuel cut off to kick in, and is this the reason why i cannot start it now because it needs resetting? or am i fooked and need a new fuel pump????????!!!
