normally when you load up media player itll say "do you want me to be your default player"

if it dont then i think theres an option you can check in media player properties to restore all associations...

if not you can go into folder options in explorer and mnually set the extensions back to WMP, also you do a similar ting in internet explorer to restore associations back to WMP
