What?

Pistons? Going wrong way?

Cooling isnt an issue with em BTW.

Right, the standard car...
If its a Jap import one then its about 265bhp and 225lbft standard.
Run a 13.5@105mph as standard with a proper driver.
About 4.7sec to 60 and 13sec to 100 if launched well.
160+ top speed when de-resticted (even lower powered UK ones did about 160).
Weigh about 1250kg, about same as a Saff.
Rev to 8k as standard, peak power is about 6.5k standard, but lot higher once tuned.
Mega aerodynamic and look the bollocks.
When was new they stopped faster than almost any supercar in the world at the time.
Handle amazing too with double wishbone suspension front and rear like a Caterham or F1 car or whatever.

Decent FULL exhaust (most RX7s have an exhaust at least) will give anothern 20bhp or so, and obv more boost etc etc will too.

Engines last 60-80k normally, which is pretty bloody good for a performance engine, esp as its just a 1.3 Not many tuned RST or Cossie engines last that many miles with no probs.
Damn sight cheaper to rebuild than most performance engines too...
