ok this was wot i was trying to do before the whole lot fell down the exhaust

im trying to get that little double ended threaded stud into the turbo so i can then connect the exhaust up.
trouble is its not screwing in without a lot of resistance. tried mole grips but theres not enough turning room. also tried double nutting it but they keep turning together.

only method ive found is to put a nut on right up to the end of the thread and jam it against that and tighten it but when i finally got it through the turbo it was so jammed on i when i tried to undo the nut it just bought the stud with it and now they are well and truly stuck together!!!!
another stud on order (3rd ) and have to see what i can do with that!

any ideas how to get it in there? im runnin out of em!
