if you can get the kit from Stu, you can use either L1, L6 or L8 as it's an add on board

have you already got an L8? if so, i would go for the RP Lab conversion

you could use any type of coil pack in theory, but it depends on how it's triggered. some are triggered high, and some low. and you may have to look at different amplifiers for the MSD

you need a phase sensor of some sort, as you do not know enough information from the crank position only. the phase sensor must be driven from the camshaft drive (which includes the dizzy as they all turn at half the speed of the crank). so you can either use the phase sensor in the dizzy but just cap it off with something, or you can fit a sensor to a cam. there's a topic all about it in the technical essays archive (you need gold membership access to read it which will cost you £20 but could easily save you that much if you read up on things before spending out on things)
