The S-02s were a brilliant all-round tyre. I've given up trying to find any more although you can still find some of the larger sizes occasionally but not in 205/50ZR15. Honda were using them on the S2K until fairly recently and Alfa Romeo used them on some of their cars as well. The S-03s were much poorer when they came out but they have improved them since then - still not as good as the old S-02s according to my friend who gets them cheap for his 944.

What's the current word on the T1-Rs - was there a dodgy batch or did Toyo never admit anything might be wrong with any of those returned?
