not sure if this is right section BUT

For those who are not aware, I got myself a cabby lol, cheap as cheaps, so couldnt turn it down,
Just needs a few things doing, the first on my list the roof, now it is electric, but the wires have been cut to the motor, as it was running constantly (my mate has had the car for the past 5 years), is there anyway of powering the roof just to get it up and down for the time being??
Its a little too heavy for me to do by hand pmsl.....and I wanna go enjoy the sun with the top down impatient YES I AM!!!
