yes. you must have the correct TPS for the ecu. for L8 and P8, that means PF09.

not only does PF09 work the opposite way around to PF01 (for L1 & L6), but it has an additional point on the resistance track at one end - can't remember which, but it's so the ecu knows you've either got WOT or idle.
