hey all, i own a diahatsu charade gtti, its a 1.0 litre twin cam 12v turbo....it also only has 3pistons they run 100bhp as standard , with a few around running close to 200bhp with a few track cars running over this, now with 170bhp they out bhp to wieght retio a lotus elise or subaru inpreza.

its got 141,000 miles on the clock, i was told it was rebuild around 5000miles ago, but dint have any reciepts to proove, also was told it has a hybrid turbo and performance clutch but again no reciepts to proove this, its also has a full scorpian exhaust which are now rare as they were discontinured a while back it is in silver wich is also a rare colour and has the standard alloys which are also fairly rare( in need of a recon ) also a fcd (fuel cut defender) and a dumpvalve.

i was driving down the moterway one dat and i herd a v.v.quiet ticking sound, i fort it was something cought on the body work, so i began looking round for abit of something hanging off the car, the noise got louder so i fort i best pull over, as i stopped it began aparant it was the engine i then got it toed home,

after posting on a gtti forum i found that this noise was more than likely a bent vavle in the head *sigh* which isnt expensive, i have never got round to fixing it, as i wanted to save up and get a really mad engine for it, as engine go for 200-300 for a low milieage runner, i was looking to save up around 2k and get a mad rebuild, but ive got new plans, and the car is now for sale,

the intrior is fairly mint, the wheels need a refurb in you want to keep the standard look, also the rear spoiler was painted with the rong paint and has peeled, there are a few dents n dings, and rusty arches ( v.commen with gtti's) also abit of rot on the lower corner of the pas door,

also blowing white smoke so needs a head gasket, these dont cost much and you can find them on ebay,

this car would be a great project, and if v.v.v.v.v.v.v.different and rare, and stands out so much..in a good way lol

im asking 500 for it, this is a v.v.good privce as a low mileage one that was slightly tatty but had alot of serviice history and was owned by an oap went for 3500, with the majority of gttt's going for 1250-2k there was a red one on ebay that had mashed up bottem end and he was asking 900 ..
