Im running approx 230 to 235bhp and mine is useless in 1st but it does bight in second and then take off. Ive got Eagle F1's on mine running at 31 psi and just have to deal with launching by steadily hitting the throttle in 1st then full on in second.

I would say though soften up the koni's as ive got them on mine and i tried driving it with them hard and although it cornerd well in the wet and lauching off the lights was a complete loss.
