The only critism regularly levelled at the early R6 was the 60 profile tyre Yamaha saw fit to put on the front causing them to feel a little skittish on the limit.

One of the best handling machines out there apart from that though

Bikes can be made to handle poorly though suspension misadjustment, fucked tyres, tired suspension etc but out of the crate both the early R6 and K model GSXR are outstanding machines and I've ridden dozens of both!!

Labelling an R6's handling as 'dangerous' is quite frankly laughable
