The K1 GSXR is an outstanding machine.
Performance wise there is fuck all to seperate them in reality but the GSXR is a bit roomier.
The finish on the Yamaha is a little better tho (but neither of them are a Honda)
I would go for the GSXR but go look/sit on both and see which you prefer as there is next to nothing between them
gurne the early r6 handling is terrible truely dangerous the 2005 -2006 machines are the only r6 to have imo
ooh and the r6 brakes are terrible aswell on that era of machine
just what all the writeups have said and i have ode a 2001 r6 and it was terrible then again so was the srad i rode
