in the rear
but on the exhaust books it hsows that the centre section is longer than on the normal sierra

the problem i had was that the exhaust wasn't far enough out of the rear bumper so all the fumes were going back into the car again
extra length in the centre section lost me 7bhp and 8lb/ft so it went onto the back end

back in the day i didn't have a digicam so no pics and the exhaust i had on it when it was 12V TT has been swapped for another one for the 24V TT engine
if i can get hold of that i'll take some snaps to show you

i've also binned all my sierra stuff as of the other month, and in the skip went a 4x4 estate exhaust, complete with extra kinks

this is the normal sierra exuahst routing

note that the pipe gooes round the side of the wishbone

this is the only pic i've got of the car i binned the exhaust off of

so i can't show you the double kink in the exhaust where it goes around a secondary bit of the rear wishbone, i should have one by the weekend though

this isn't to say that ALL exhaust will have this problem, as you can see, one exhaust has been bolted on directly without a problem, but it's not always the case
