At this moment i have 215-40-16 on my MK7 escort, but i want to fit 17 inch wheels.
Now the question is how much acceleration will i loose if i go with the size of 215-40-17 against 215-35-17?

Some people say that its pretty notice if you go from 40-16-to 40-17, so if thats the case than 35-17 is better but far more expensive here in Holland.
SO it the money worth to go for thinner tyres?
