My Father is about as close as you will come to him now, We had a 10 ton Steam Roller in the family for 25yrs.

He restores them now he is retired, has one at his friends workshop and one in his front garden...

Its a very old style engineering art, i dont have the patience for it.

I spent a whole school holiday Stripping the Steam Roller down for a re-build, knocking out 300 solid rivets,
just using a big ass hammer, and oxycetline.
