Did a Spa weekend.....she loved it, bit far for you though mate..could always fly down.

....and you'll enjoy it to great experience, I've never done anything like this.

We stayed at the Careysmanor hotel in the new forest and you get the use of the standard pool area, but you can also pay to use the hydrotherapy rooms via a swipe entry card....basically a brand new built spa area with two floors with many different rooms.

One springs to mind...especially the "cold room" where you select the storm required in the room by buttons on the wall, tropical, atlantic or can't remember the other one. But you get the idea, then a fine mist starts to fill the room and gets heavier with water jets from everywhere including lighting and sound effects, After a while this mist and water starts to get colder. Then when this has finished you get the option of ""are you man enough"" pulling the ice cold bucket over you, by this time you are fecking shivering!! but the joy of jumping in the large fun pool is heaven, which is of course hot...great fun really. There are many other rooms with things like heated tiled sun loungers which are located in a dark room with small LED's in the ceiling with soft music and a water fall in the background. Felt like a right Monger leaving this room after half an hour! could hardly walk I was so relaxed.

I was so relaxed after all that when we were getting ready for our evening meal I had to consume two strong coffees before I left our room....or the misses would of been nudging me at the table come first course !!

Food and hotel was quality,... and we had our three course evening meal in the Tia restaurant "see second link below" which is in the hotel's spa building.

Sorry for the long post but we will be going back...top top weekend mate for you and the misses.
