Thats what mine was on my series 1, the rear light seal was fooked and water was running in acroos the boot floor, down the rear bench and into a (big) puddle under/behind the drivers seat. For the cost of a seal its deffinately worth trying, i found it by pulling the boot carpet out and rear seats and got someone to pour bucket after bucket of water over the rear. HTH
