My dad has a normal computer system in one room which has a printer connected. The computer is connected via Network cable to a wireless router in another room and uses Win Xp.

He also has a laptop which also has Win Xp and a Wireless connection which he uses in another part of the house.

Therefore both computers have access to the internet through the router.

But...he wants to be able to print documents from the laptop.

Can he send the necessary document to the printer somehow???

I thought that he wouldn't be able to with the Normal computer off, but wondered if he could in some way file share???

Or would it in fact be possible if the normal computer was on whilst he was using the laptop in another part of the house through a network???

Any advice???
