Hello. i have a problem with my Escort Cossie and I cant find the prob.

When i push the trottle and release it quickly the car just dies on me, but if I push the trottle within 2 sec it keeps on going, but it sounds like it a 3 cyl engine.

Can anyone help me out here?Btw im running 2 bar boost can this have anything to do with it?
