Right....

Spoke to Universal again and a very helpful chap spent 5 mins explaining this to me.

Basicly its a type of piston ring used, as oil seals cannot withstand the tempreture inside a turbo (makes sence to me!)

The vacume around the turbo determines how well these seal the oil inside. Large exhausts (low back pressure) can cause the turbos to spill oil out of the compressor housing
but this is the norm and traces of oil in boost pipes is acceptible.

Final words where.... worry if its puffing oil out the back. Which it is not!

Any comments people?
