It sounds like your after a decent base for a project basically mate which you will have to be prepared to spend money on and/or work on yourself.

If your spending around the 2K-2.5K mark your going have to be prepared to do a bit of refurbishment tbh.

But if thats what you like doing then go for it!

You can get turbo's for a lot less than this and sometimes you can get a bargain at around the £1500 mark but i would recommend you buy the best you can afford.

I did that with my Turbo and have had many years happy motoring.

Bought a cheap(ish) cossie and have regretted it ever since!
