Im hoping its going to be quick
Im using FRST OFAB management. I still need to get the injectors (of which i am unsure at the mo.) and superchip.
I had another go at the inlet after getting my fuel rail off mk1turbo at fitp. (Thanks mate!!!) here's the result.
how it came
1/2 stripped
fitted to sandwich plate and standard FRST injectors
and trial fit to the engine
It looks like it will work well
All I have to do is grind off the original mounting lugs and use some munson rings ( pipe clamps for plumbers
) to hold it in place. The ISCV needs to be milled to allow it to fit in the gap though but thats not much of a problem.
It allows use of the FRST fuel pressure regulator as well
I still need to sort the thorttle body out with the correct linkage, which I still need to find, and think of a way to get a idle air bypass on the throttle as the zetec doesnt use one and the FRST does. I am thinking of using a bleed valve with two connections (like a restrictor not to bleed) one connection to the charge carrier and one to the inlet. Any opinions?
Thats all for now
