I'll take it apart when I know I can get to a store. At the moment the only info I kind find on my motherboard is a booklet in a drawer titled 'Systemboard M810 Series.' Couldn't find much on google so I think I'll just go battery in hand as you said!

If I take it out will I not lose all my system settings? I'm not sure how critical this is? Do I have to go into setup and note things down?
