you are a bunch of bullys, telling the little boy he's going to have his little bit of freedom taken away from him
as far as i am aware (having been through all of this a few times in the past, once for the company when i was hit and once for the company where one of our buses hit a car and shunted it along) you claim off of the person who hit you
they can then claim off of the person who hit them and so on and so forth
as far as the car being parked illegaly, just because it's not supposed to be there doesn't mean to say someone can total it because they don't look where they are going
if it was to go through the insurance this would be seen as the other guy driving like a pillock, with possible police involvment depending on how serious it was, personal injury etc
as it stands, you have got your car fixed (possibly) he has got himself into trouble with his old man, his mate is getting the blame and everyones' happy
