The cossie flywheel is physically bigger in diameter. The ring gear is a larger diameter.

There is not enough meat on the outside of the zetec to drill/tap holes for the cossie flywheel. They will break out the edge.

Trust me, I spent ages measuring all the dimensions on both and created cad drawings that have then be used in CNC machines to create flywheels.
