Keep it planted is kinda rubbish too, you will just spin, unless you got an incredible amount of lock.
S13s have got way more lock than most cars, but i used to spin way too much when drifting as i used too much gas.
Would hold the drift for ages, but then still spin at end.
If you keep the gas in you will keep it sideways too, and TBh, he wants traction back so he stops poohing his pants.
Dip the clutch? Thats just the same as letting off! And when he undipped it it would kick out again!
Kicking the clutch is a good way of getting a car to lose traction, not get it back!
Best way is just let off gently, and be good with the steering!
Practice at a drift sorta day is best way to learn quick, as you can dilberatley get it out of shape and learn to not fuck up and spin out.
Once you can hold a drift, you could easy get yourself out of sticky situations like youve jus been in.
