These engines aren't too dear and would be a perfect replacement for the 2.0 8v DOHC
what you need to do is find a 2.3 from a scorpio and plonk it in
it's an almost direct fit other than a bit of jiggery pokery with the sump
you need to really keep the balancer shafts as it doesn't look like the sump from the twinky will fit
if you wanted to go manual then you'd have to find a manual version as the clutch and flywheel are totaly different to the twinky stuff (not that you can't use it, they are just smaller)
if you want to go 24 then just drop in the engine and box and job done
