ok i'm just wondering if anyone knows how a rst will run with a fooked map sensor??

as i have a problem with mine i think but the car runs totally like a bag of poo at the mo.. (missing and smoke from the rear)
could this be anything to do with the map sensor as its adjusting the fuel..??
